The dosing pharmacist on duty is the single named contact for pharmacotherapy patients and prescribers. Backup pharmacists and trained support staff cover dosing hours when the primary contact is unavailable.

Training currency. Our dosing pharmacists complete the PSA Victorian Opioid Pharmacotherapy Program (VOPP), credentialing for the administration of long-acting injectable pharmacotherapy, and the Take Home Naloxone training. We refresh on PSA updates and engage the Pharmacotherapy Area-Based Network for Melbourne West.
